Patterned tiles are becoming incredibly popular in the tile market, whether that be for a modern restaurant refit or a home owner trying to create something unique in their new bathroom. Patterned tiles give you the opportunity to add a bit of personality and flair to any design scheme, bringing any room they are placed in to life.
Using patterned tiles for features seems to be one of the most popular options as they have the ability to add character to an otherwise boring space, since the release of our patterned porcelains we have seen them be used for splash backs, fireplace boarders and feature walls inside shower enclosures.
The exciting thing about these tiles is that they are not restricted to bathrooms and kitchens as some products can be, these tiles can look incredible in a number of different settings. We have also seen patterned tiles used in entrance hallways, small downstairs bathrooms and porches. There are so many different ways to use them and it’s all about adding your own creative personalisation!
Here at Ionic Stone, we have five new and exciting patterned porcelains available to suit a broad range of design ideas.
Our Form Ice Baroque is a continuous pattern which flows beautifully across any setting. The baroque pattern is an artistic style that is highly detailed and instantly makes you think of the renaissance in Italy.
The Form Ice Clover is of a similar design scheme to the Baroque, this tile also creates a flowing pattern when matched up correctly but has a more circular pattern. The grey and white colour selection means they are able to create a stand out feature whilst also fitting in with a neutral colour scheme.
Our Form Ice Compass creates the same bold effect as the previous two but it is slightly more simplistic. The star like design create a strong yet subtle feature, making this design perfect for somebody who likes the idea of patterned tiles but doesn’t want anything too dramatic.
The Form Monochrome Lotus is probably the design that stands out the most in the range, the black and white colours in this tile create a bold yet elegant design in any room it is placed in. Monochrome colour schemes are always incredibly popular with people trying to create something dramatic that stands out from the crowd.
The Form Monochrome Stellar has the same dramatic colour scheme as the Lotus but with a different pattern design, this bold star pattern creates a perfect stand out feature which would look great as a splash back in any kitchen.
